Last three hours of the Dewey Read-a-thon

As I enter the last three hours, Mm eyelids feel like led weights are attached to the eyelashes and they are drooping dangerously close to tiny slits. Caffeine is no longer helping.

Jumping jacks, touch your toes, or in my case step outside on the porch for a bite of crisp fall air. That'll wake you up and get you motivated.

On to what will probably be my last book this this read-a-thon. I'm reading The Welcoming by Nora Roberts.

My derriere is pactically numb and I have to shift from one side to the next every few minutes, but yes, I am wide awake now and moving on to my next book.

Next up is Close Call by Carla Neggers.

As we enter the last 6 hours of the Dewey Read-a-thon I decided to throw another holiday story into the mix.

Entering the last seven hours of the Dewey Read-a-thon

As all the readers strive to keep thei eyelids by any means necessary. Whether you use toothpicks, glue, caffeine, or sugar it doesn't matter. In my case, I am using mini Snickers and mini bottles of Coke. I've only had one of each and the Coke is still sitting here and has gotten a little warm now.

I added Heather Graham into the mix twice. I read Home for Christmas.

Reading Sharon Sala in the Read-a-thon

After my manicure and before the making of 15 gallons of Irish Dry Stout beer, I managed to squeeze in a book by Sharon Sala.

I finished reading Early in the Morning, a short story by Stella Cameron and now I am on to another short book this time by another of my favorite authors Sharon Sala.

My next read is The Fiercest Heart by Sharon Sala. I'm taking this book with me and going to read it while I'm out at breakfast. Shh...I'll be reading with my mouth full so don't interrupt. It won't be pretty if you do.
