Phish NET Stalkings available on ebook

All Jane wanted was to find love. Was that too much to ask?

How difficult could it be to find one man, the perfect man for her? After dating the losers of the century, Jane decides there has to be a better way. She turns to an online dating service. After all, they guarantee a ‘happily ever after’ or your money back.

Jane East, CEO of Not-So-Plain-Jane’s organic cosmetics wants to fall in love with a man who makes her toes curl when he kisses her. Unfortunately, the one man who makes her toes curl also wears ladies’ pink underwear and a badge. The pink underwear she could probably deal with, but the badge is a different story.

Ever since seeing her mother and granny Pearl murdered by men with badges, Jane has a fear of cops and anyone who carries a badge. Especially, because the killers are still on the loose and searching for her.

Former FBI Cybercrime special agent turned small-town Chief of Police, Cooper Chance, gets caught with his pants down and his family jewels tucked in pink ladies’ underwear with lacy frills when he meets the woman of his dreams. That’s not his only issue. The woman has a fear of cops. If he can get past her guard, maybe he can save her life.

The ebook is out now and available at:

Books make great gifts!

Got some last minute holiday shopping to do? Not quite certain what to get that someone who has everything? Need some stocking stuffers?

Books make great gifts! And this Saturday, December 19, you can make that book gift all the more special by picking up a signed copy of a local authors novel.

Get in that last minute gift buying and celebrate the release of my latest thriller, CONNECT THE DOTS by joining me and mystery authors Michaeline Della Fera, Robin Beaudette, Cindy Davis, and Julie MacShane this Saturday, December 19 from 11 AM to 2 PM at Paper & Roses in Peterborough, NH.

This latest thriller takes readers on a page-turning tale of suspense, intrigue and international espionage with a storyline ripped straight from today’s headlines. Torture, secret prisons, and ghost flights are just a few of the modern-day themes touched upon in CONNECT THE DOTS.

Stop by Paper & Roses, have one of my homemade wine chocolate truffles, drink a glass of wine, and pick up a couple of books for the holidays. If you've finished your holiday shopping then come on out and treat yourself to a gift of reading.

I hope to see you there!

CONNECT THE DOTS is here!

No matter how many books you have published (this is my third in one year) when you see it in print it is like holding your child in your arms for the first time. You spent months creating it, months waiting for it, and now the day has arrived. Your book is in print!

When I left for work yesterday morning I had to stop by the post office because mt parents said the little slip from the postal person was probably a box from them. I trotted down to the post office and waited in line to get my package with the thought of getting a Christmas present. [rub hands together in anticipation]

I get the box, tuck it into the passenger seat and then take off for work. On my way, I call my folks (on my handsfree phone) to tell them that I picked up their package. It wasn't until I was on the phone with my father that I bothered to glance at the shipping information on the box. HOLY COW! The package wasn't from my wonderful parents. It was from my publisher.

Imagine sitting in traffic with no scissors, no knife, not even your keys available to you to open the box. I wanted to jump out of my skin because I wanted to see, touch, and yes, smell my novel. What do you think I did? I painstakingly, inch-by-inch managed to shred the tape that my sadistic publisher used to secure the box. YES! I managed to get that box open and after tossing all the paper cushion into the backseat of the car,I pulled out the first copy of CONNECT THE DOTS.

I whooped and hollered, shook my book and even kissed it. Some big truck guy honked and waved. I'm a friendly person so I waved back with my book and a big grin on my face.

At work I showed my entire team so they could ooo and ahh all over it. I left it sitting on my desk while I attended a meeting and when I returned I found a note on my desk from another woman in the office saying she wanted a copy of the book. She came by and told me twice. Love that!

I returned home last night from work to find boxes of books stacked on my driveway. I barely had the car stopped before I was jumping out to go get the boxes and carry them inside. I just wanted to see them!

Four Days until CONNECT THE DOTS and I'm giving away books

In case you have not paid attention, my latest novel, CONNECT THE DOTS, releases in 4 more days. Of course, if you were unaware of this fact you must have been hiding under a rock or in a very long, very deep cave.

I am continuing the pre-launch today with a GIVEAWAY. In preparation for my third novel's release this year I am going to give away 15 signed copies of my first novel, IT HAPPENS IN THREES to 15 people chosen at random. If you are unaware of the storyline for IT HAPPENS IN THREES, visit my website to find out more.

The rules for this giveaway are very simple. Since this is the holiday season, let's give books to other people.

1. Leave a comment here as to who you would like to give a copy of IT HAPPENS IN THREES to as a gift.
2. Due to cost, I can't ship everywhere so the book has to be delivered to someone in the United States.

I will contact the winners of the giveaway tonight (Friday, December 11) so make sure to include your email address in your comment.

What do you get for all this fun?

It's official! The release date for Connect the Dots is...

December 15, 2009 is the release for my next book, Connect the Dots.

(The image appears somewhat red on my screen, but is in fact blue.)

This story revolves around my favorite hero, Special Agent Jake Frisbie (or as myself and my publisher like to refer to him as Mr. Hottie)and the heroine, Charley Duston, a CIA Human Intelligence Operative.

Here's a hint at the storyline.

Connect the Dots

All she did was connect the dots.

Her ex-lover is murdered.

Is she next?

A Queen of Spades appears on her nightstand. The death threat sends her running for cover and in search of answers.

Who wants Charley Duston dead? Why?

Her first clue comes in an email from her dead lover. “Black Sites.”

When his new lover is wrenched from his arms and his bed, Special Agent Jake Frisbie discovers the truth about Charley. She is a CIA Human Intelligence Operative. And someone wants her dead.

Kidnapped, Charley disappears on a ghost plane to nowhere.

Is Jake too late?

Sneaking into the secret prison is easy. Getting Charley out alive. . .the hardest assignment of his life.

Lori Brighton offers a chance to win a copy of It Happens in Threes and Killer Bunny Hill

Historical Romance author Lori Brighton interviewed me on her blog. Go there and post a comment for a chance to win a copy of It Happens in Threes or Killer Bunny Hill. Lori Brighton interviews Denise Robbins.

After you've left your message, checkout Lori's website at www.loribrighton.com. There, you will find that Lori has a degree in Anthropology and worked as a museum curator. Deciding the people in her imagination were slightly more exciting than the dead things in a museum basement, she set out to become an author.

Her first book, a historical romance titled Wild Heart, will be published by Kensington in November of 2009. Read an excerpt and add her title to your list of books to read.

KILLER BUNNY HILL

Okay, forgive me if I mentioned this already, but did I tell you I found out that KILLER BUNNY HILL is scheduled for release in July?

I emailed my editor last week to ask what she thought of CONNECT THE DOTS, but of course she'd only had it a few weeks and hadn't read it yet. Not to worry, she knows I have no patience. :-) She just laughs at me when I ask such questions.

Anyway, she said that CTD wouldn't be released until next year anyway until several months after KBH. So then I was like. . . WAIT! Does that mean you know when KBH is coming out.

I'm not allowed to hold her to this but she said KILLER BUNNY HILL should be released in July 2009. WOOHOO! Two books in one year.

And yes, I'm shooting for two books next year too. If I ever finish my current WIP.

My mom got the book before me

HA! My mother ordered IT HAPPENS IN THREES off the Internet and received her copy before I received mine.

She called me Friday night from my dad's cell phone while he drove so she could tell me the news. She was so excited that she told my father to read the dedication to her while we spoke.

Uh hem! Dad was driving the car!! :-)

Anyway, they finally read the dedication (later)...which was to them. All these months and they never had a clue so it was a great feeling to know I choked up my own parents.

Yesterday, I spoke with my dad and he was telling me that when the guys arrived in the morning to work on replacing their kitchen tile my mother was right there showing off her daughter's book.

Don't you just love family!! I love mine.
