4VETS4LIFE – help a disabled Veteran
As Veterans Day (November 11) approaches and we thank our Veterans for
their service, another organization, 4VETS4LIFE is looking to help disabled
Veterans in a big way and they need our help.

Some people call it the Season of Giving, but I have decided to call it the Season of Thanks.
I believe in giving every single month, week, day. I am grateful every day for the people in my life; my family, friends, coworkers, the complete stranger I meet. And I want to say thanks to all the people in my life for making my life so full. They all impact our lives in some way or another.
BUT, there is one group that impacts us that we may never meet or have an opportunity to thank. There is one group of people I am most thankful for and that is our Veterans.
I don’t believe there is enough that can be said or done to thank the brave men and women who have sacrificed so much to keep us safe and free.
We are the land of the free because of the brave. Thank you, Veterans!

Some people might think the season of giving starts on
Halloween when you’re at your door handing out candy to all the little ghouls
and goblins that come trick or treating. Most people believe the season of
giving begins the day after Thanksgiving and continues until the day after
Christmas.
Me? I’m different. I believe in giving every single month,
week, day. I am grateful every day for the people in my life; my family,
friends, the complete stranger I meet.

For those of you who don't know, today, November 11, is Veterans Day. A day to remember and honor our military veterans. In other parts of the world Veterans Day is celebrated as Armistic Day or Remembrance Day. It's the anniversary of the signing of the Armistice that ended World War I and was signed on the 11th hour, of the 11th day, of the 11th month.
No matter what you call it or where you are, today is a perfect day to say, "Thank you" to a veteran you know. Maybe you don't know him or her. Introduce yourself and thank him/her for protecting you and us. Thank them for standing the wall and making it safe for you and us to go about our lives.
While you are thanking those that you know or are still alive, remember those that gave their life. Remember those that went into battle for our freedom and didn't come back. Remember them as the hero they were and are.
To all the Veterans I know, have yet to meet, or will never have the privilege of meeting:
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping keep me, my family and friends, and our freedoms safe from harm. You are my heroes.
