Writing Prompt Wednesday
It's Wednesday and you know what that means...Writing Prompt!!
Every now and again we all need a little creativity boost. It doesn't matter that you aren't a writer. We all need that extra incentive now and again and a writing prompt is a good way to get your mind to open up and have some fun.
How does this work?
I post the beginning of a sentence and you finish it. You can write one sentence, a paragraph, or even a page if you like. Just let your mind go and write whatever comes into it. You'd be amazed at the results.
Today's writing prompt - Sitting in her apartment with the air conditioner broken. . .
Now all you have to do is write. Finish the sentence and if you feel like sharing we would love to see what you come up with. It's amazing to see how we all go in different directions.
Most of all Have fun!

watching the doorknob slowly turn, and damn, no bullets for the Glock.
Sitting in her apartment with the air conditioner broken she contemplated launching herself from the window. Of all days for the door to get stuck, it had to get stuck today, in 104 degree heat. She stalked to the door again, backed up and gave it her best kick. Nothing. Not even a squeak from the rusted hinges. Perhaps she could fit in the fridge if she took the shelves out...
Fitting in the fridge...I've tried that. :-)
Here's my tiny blurb for this week's prompt.
Sitting in her apartment with the air conditioner broken, she fanned herself with the hem of her top. She took a cube from the bowl of melting ice, tilted her head back, and pressed the ice against the slow pulse in her neck. A thin line of water trickled down her neck, slid past her bare collarbone, and glided between her cleavage. A tiny shiver of pleasure rippled up her spine.
Oh wow Denise. I have totally done that but it was Mountain Dew and I was drinking sloppily in the shower after mowing the lawn *winks*
Ha! Love Mountain Dew!
