Writing Prompt Wednesday

I'm trying to reach another two thousand words in my WIP today and thought a writing prompt might help me get there. How about you? Could you use a little creativity boost?

Today's writing prompt: He found Jack. . .

Write whatever pops into your head. Don't think, just write. Write as much or as little as you want and share it back here when you finish.

Hook that reader and make us want to read more.

Happy writing!

He found Jack in the box. Which was not surprising, no matter how cliche it sounds. The terrier was always finding cardboard caves to cower in.

Now the question was how would he get the snarling little mutt to jump out of the box!?

He found Jack after the witch had had her way with him. He tried whispering the words of healing that he had learned, but Jack was too far gone. He left what remained of his friend in the hollow where he found him and then headed east. The witch had gone to far this time.

He found Jack Daniel's and a bottle of cola in the kitchen and poured them both a drink. He walked back into the living room to find his date laying provocatively on the couch.
