Here's how I started the writing prompt.


She slipped out of bed early the next morning. Using the light from the hall to guide her, Jane located a pair of boxers and a tank top and silently dragged them on before tiptoeing out of the bedroom and down the stairs.

In the kitchen, she made coffee then sat at her little bistro table, staring sightlessly at the mug she held in one hand while the other propped up her head.

"What the hell have I done?"
