I like this one. Definitely not a one sentence or one paragraph write up on this.

When he said "Let's just be friends", Amie turned on him, ready to knock him flat.
And she could've too, she knew it. With that smug look, that "of course you'll do what I want" little smile of his, she could've done a lot more than smack him.
But she didn't. No, that would bring her down to Tom's low-life level. Instead she pinned on a smile of her own, grasped her hands together and brought them up to her cheek and gave him an adoring look.
"Really? Oh Tom, that would be the best thing in the world!"
Tom raised his eyebrows. Apparently he was such a dense idiot that he believed her sugary sweet words. "Yeah, of course babe. Friends with benefits even."
Oh no he didn't just say that.
With her hand still clenched in a fist she decided to hit him anyway.
And as expected, he folded like a card table.
Ha!
Loved that she smacked him for the "friends with benefits" line.
Very cute.
