Love Scene Discussion Day 3

Day 3: Let's talk about Kissing!

What is used to kiss? Yes, I'm talking about parts of the body.

Lips, mouth, tongue. Heck! A really great kiss ususally involves hands and body contact.

Remember that movie "Bull Durham" with Kevin Costner and Susan Sarandon? Remember his line about kissing?

". . . and I believe in long, slow, deep, soft, wet kisses that last three days."

I don't know about you all but that made my toes curl.

Your assignment:

Show a kiss. Use the lips, mouth, tongue, etc. Make toes curl!

But here is the kicker. You cannot just say he kissed her or she kissed him. Uh-uh! Use another word besides "kiss".

Looking forward to seeing what you come up with.

Okay, this is a first kiss between my hero and heroine in my book Finally Home

Whether she swayed toward him on purpose or by accident, she didn’t know. All Torie could remember was that her lips touched his. At first she didn’t apply any more pressure. The feather-light brush of his skin sent more tremors through her body than she’d believed possible. Tingling thrills spiraled through her blood and gathered in her heart, where they pulsed back out into the rest of her body.

Thinking only of deepening the pleasure of the touch, Torie opened her lips slightly against his. The texture of skin, smooth and dry, gliding against hers, brought a sigh from her heart. How could he just stand there when she wanted so much more, wanted to give him so much more? He remained like a statue.

In one last effort to move him, Torie touched her tongue against his lips, just a flutter, but enough to produce a low moan from him.

So he wasn’t impervious to her after all.

Ceri,

Great description. I can almost feel the kiss.

This has been an interesting discussion...wish I was going to be around for the speech. Good Luck Denise and may everyone get the climax they are looking for.

Autumn,

Thanks for the luck. Hopefully these little exercises will make it enjoyable.

I know I'm having fun doing them.
